The legal system is what it is, so this is some "fine print." We are just making it clear that we are not selling factory parts made by the BMW company, and they are not affiliated with us in any way. Most, if not all, of our parts are a different shape from the factory part and just happens to fit in the factory part location. None of our products have been crash tested, we don't make any promises on automotive accident performance because automotive accidents create such extreme forces and the parts are not designed for that. While we would never knowingly sell a dangerous product in any situation, we simply can't know how they will perform under those circumstances, so there is some level of responsibility taken on by you knowing that.
